Ebony Polish

Ebony Polish is designed to bring a brilliant, protective finish to ebony fingerboards of string instruments.  

It contains soft abrasive components and cleaners and is applied like the OW Polish, but finishing the process with Italian Cream is not recommended.  

It is easy to apply, making it an essential product for professional luthiers and musicians who care about the upkeep of their instruments.

Before sanding the final varnish film, ensure it is scorched and hardened to avoid a turbid appearance. Use the Ebony Polish with a clean, lint-free cloth, preferably natural fibres. Apply the polish in a circular motion.

It is essential to be careful in this process to avoid removing the varnish. Once the polish is applied, clean the surface with a clean cloth to remove any excess product.

Ebony Polish is meant for ebony wood, but finishing with Italian cream is not recommended in this process.

This tailored approach ensures the best care and appearance for different wood types. The musician can use this product for the usual cleaning and maintenance of the instrument.

Security

According to the CLP Regulation nº1272/2008 (CLP), the product is not classified as hazardous. 

They are non-flammable and do not require special handling measures, but the following general measures are recommended: wear protective gloves and glasses to prevent accidental splashes. 

These products are not classified as dangerous for the environment. Do not dump into sewers or waterways.

Storage

Keep the container tightly closed and cool, and do not expose it to direct light. Avoid sources of heat, radiation, static electricity and contact with food. Under these conditions, the product is stable for more than two years.
